Education and Higher Education

Musharek recognises the vital role of education in promoting social development and employability. The organisation is committed to assisting communities in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their lives and contribute to the advancement of society.
Under this pillar, Musharek implemented the following initiatives.

International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)

Since 2007, ISEF has been organised in Lebanon, providing a platform for secondary school students to showcase their scientific projects. The winning projects (a total of 6 projects) represent Lebanon at the International Science and Engineering Fair held annually in the United States. Lebanon achieved notable success in this competition, winning the second Grand Award in 2007, a Special Award in 2010, and the Fourth Grand Award in Medicine in 2012.

Intel Berytech Innovation Challenge (IBIC)

This national competition promotes local innovation and competitiveness through education and entrepreneurship programmes. Winning projects from Lebanon represented the Lebanon in the international UC Berkeley Global Challenge.

Challenge Me!

This regional competition focuses on the Internet of Things (IoT) and brings together educational institutions, non-governmental organisations, private sector and business incubators from across the Middle East. Beirut hosted the inaugural edition of this event.
